Audio Book Wicked Outlaw (Ward Security Book 6) with FREE MOBI EDITION!

I've loved all the books in these two series with the characters but the Ward Security series has been my favorite. Rowe and Noah are such a great pair. This latest entry, Wicked Outlaw, despite the terrific cover, was a disappointment to me. I liked both Cole and JB and thought they were good together, although I thought the love scenes a little too insta love, especially with someone who thought he was straight. There was a distinct lack of "holy crap, what have I done and what am I feeling?" All the supporting characters were pretty fun except JB's mother, who I thought needlessly cruel. The biggest problem I had with this story was the tired trope. I've read different versions of the bad guy wanting the ranch, farm, etc., in so many other books. This was one of the better versions but still too familiar and irritating. Plus, he apparently wasn't punished! I know these authors can do better and I hope there's another book in this series.
